Peak Performance Predictor (P3)
The Peak Performance Predictor, a two-part tool comprised of the iWAM Assessment and the Model of Excellence, improves organizational effectiveness by ensuring that the Right People are doing the Right Work to accomplish the strategic goals and mission of your organization.

Why use the Peak Performance Predictor? Documented and anecdotal evidence indicates that hiring, managing and motivating the “right staff” is critical to your success. However, you have probably found that it is exceedingly difficult to appropriately match your organizational needs with a sufficient quantity of qualified candidates.

At best, candidate interviews and reference checks identify competencies, but they rarely uncover substantive information regarding the candidate’s attitude and motivation toward their work responsibilities and relationships. Research shows that these “missing factors” are key components that significantly influence a candidate’s work behavior and can account for more than 60 percent of the formula for job and organizational success. The iWAM is designed to evaluate these two key factors.

What is the iWAM? The Inventory for Work Attitude and Motivation is a 40-question, self-administered (online or paper/pencil) assessment tool that uses 48 distinct filters to measure an applicant’s attitude and motivation patterns. The iWAM creates an overall profile of the individual by comparing the applicant’s responses to national and/or organizational normative data. Your organization can then use this profile information to screen, select, place, develop and/or coach the individual to ensure that he/she is contributing at Peak Performance level.

How can I use the iWAM information to benefit my organization?

  • Refine recruitment messages to attract the “right pool” of candidates.

  • Identify applicants who are the “best fit” for positions and the organization.

  • Place individuals where they can deliver maximum benefit to the organization.

  • Coach supervisors on ways to encourage Peak Performance from their staff.

  • Create targeted development plans for long-term professional growth.

  • Improve the satisfaction level and retention of key staff.

  • Understand and capitalize on the similarities and differences of individuals.

  • Engender cohesive teamwork to further the goals of the organization.

  • Decrease the time, effort and expense wasted because of recruiting and hiring the “wrong” person.

What is the Model of Excellence? The Model of Excellence (MOE) is generated specifically for your organization based on the iWAM assessments of your MOST successful incumbents. Your custom-made Model of Excellence then serves as the template for future hiring and staffing decisions based on your organization’s key success factors. The MOE also helps existing team members develop individually to operate at Peak Performance level. In effect, the Model of Excellence is a “tailor-made” screening, selection, placement and development tool that ultimately helps you achieve your organizational goals.

What about Cost? What are the Benefits? The iWAM Assessment and the Model of Excellence are very competitively priced and deliver an exceptional return on your investment.

Consider the business jeopardy and public relations issues attributable to an employee-related “crisis” or the drop in revenue and productivity associated with poor performance, employee turnover or long-term open positions. The Peak Performance Predictor is designed to improve your hiring and retention success rate and therefore minimize the incremental cost of recruiting, interviewing, relocating and training new hires. In addition, the Peak Performance Predictor helps avoid the duplicative expenses associated with managing and delivering remedial training/coaching for sub-par performers due to initial “bad” hiring decisions. Furthermore, the Peak Performance Predictor equips supervisors with the tools and person-specific language that will help your staff develop to their fullest potential and contribute at levels consistent with your high standards.

Any way you look at it, the Peak Performance Predictor is a very inexpensive solution to address what could be your organization’s most expensive and troublesome challenge – ensuring that the Right People are doing the Right Work!
