“Must we always teach our
children with books? Let them look at the mountains
and the stars up above. Let them look at the beauty
of the waters and the trees and flowers on earth.
They will then begin to think, and to think is the
beginning of a real education.”

Outdoor Education
Wyman offers an innovative outdoor curriculum for
schools and youth groups. The curriculum adheres to much
of Missouri's Show Me academic performance standards and
can be tailored to the needs of each group.
Wyman programs range from academic requirement programs
such as aquatic ecology, to adventure programs such as
high ropes courses, to evening programs such as night
hikes. Wyman works closely with its school and youth
groups to create outdoor learning environments that meet
academic and team-building goals through a unique and
stimulating learning environment. Group visits can
range from day trips to a week-long overnight stay in
our cozy cabins.
Taught by highly-trained professionals, Wyman programs
are based upon experiential education principles to
engage youth with hands-on experiences and learning in
the great outdoors.
