In the winter issue of Teen Matters, subscribers read about some of the recent successess of Wyman teens - and when it comes to academics and extracurricular activities, our young people have plenty to report! Listed below are those accomplishments featured in Teen Matters and more that didn’t fit in the newsletter!

  • Wilicia R., Evy E. and Jasmine P. have all been accepted to Missouri State. Kiva S., Carvas P. and Aaprara M. have been accepted to Ottawa University.
  • Sydney W. passed Spanish with a 97% and made Honor Choir
  • Jared B. has a speaking part in the school play and is a part of TATU (Teens Against Tobacco Use).
  • Kelsi W. made the cheerleading squad.
  • Ametra H. placed in her first tournament during her first year on the debate team.
  • Megan W. passed her math test.
  • Cassidy S. is the soprano section leader for her school choir.
  • Kaylin K. is on the volleyball team.
  • Darriaun A. is one of the top 20 tenors in Missouri.
  • Lonette L. has the 6th highest GPA in school and was accepted into the People to People Student Ambassadors Program.
  • Jennifer W. made the varsity tennis team and maintains a 4.5 GPA.
  • Shannon B.’s art portfolio is being reviewed by an art professor at Florissant Valley Community College.
  • Xavier D. is the first chair tenor sax for St. Louis Metro District 8 band.
  • Lisa N. achieved a 4.1 GPA.
  • My H. has a 98% in science class.
  • Jordan S. is first chair and first solo in orchestra.
  • Maxine D. is on the tennis team.
  • Mary D. had the opportunity to meet Paul Rusesabagina, the inspiration for the movie Hotel Rwanda.
  • Allison S. has logged over 200 hours of community service this year!
